ARBORETUM: A collection of tree species of scientific study or exhibition.

 

The Arboretum is where Studio JNRB conducts botanical design experiments. Plants a fused into hybrid greenery elements to create entirely new tree typologies: half-built and half grown. Cities are not natural environments for plants, but by creating structures that blur the line between 'built' and 'grown', we can begin to better understand our relationship to the natural world.
